We have a lot to be thankful for in Indiana. We also have some problems.
A lot of those problems are caused by an over-reaching government, and they can be fixed by returning to a limited government. That is the crux of this campaign, to work to return government to its legitimate function of protecting us from force and fraud.

We need to stop government from granting special privilege to one person over another, to one group over another, or one business over another. We need to end job-killing over-regulation and taxes, and we need to assure the taxes we do pay are spent on the things for which they were collected. We need to get government out of our private lives.

Government is out of control at every level, and it’s been that way for a while. We probably won’t get it straightened out in one election, but if we don’t get headed in the right direction, we’ll never get it straightened out at all.

Once we reach that goal, if we find out it really isn't enough to build and maintain the roads, then we can talk. But first things first, I believe. Don't you?

Government can’t create jobs, but it can create an environment where we can create jobs. Our goal should be to build a state where all businesses, large and small, can flourish, or fail, of their own volition.

Voluntarism and government.

Feb 28, 2016

While the only legitimate role of government is to protect us from force and fraud, and provide a remedy if those protections are violated, there are many people who want more from their government than that.
